The Story

GuestGuy started because my mom is an Airbnb host. She was fielding the same guest questions over and over — WiFi passwords, check-in instructions, where to eat, how to work the TV — and I figured there had to be a better way. So I built her a simple AI tool to handle those conversations instead.

It worked. Guests loved having instant answers at any hour. She loved not being texted at midnight about the parking code. So I cleaned it up, made it easy to configure, and turned it into something any host could use in minutes.

GuestGuy is built and run by one person. No VC funding, no big team — just a genuine tool born from a real problem, and a belief that hosting should be less stressful.

Yes. Guest conversations are stored for host analytics (session summaries and insights) but no personal information is collected and guests never need to create accounts. WiFi passwords and access codes are encrypted and never sent to the AI.

No download, no login, no friction. Guests simply scan the QR code or tap the link you share — it opens instantly in their browser. Nothing to install.
Your guide content is only accessible via the unique link for your property — it's not publicly searchable or indexed. For extra protection, you can set an optional guest code so that sensitive info like WiFi passwords is only revealed after the guest enters the correct PIN.
You fill out a property guide — WiFi details, house rules, check-out steps, local tips, appliance quirks — and GuestGuy uses that to answer your guests' questions accurately. The more you add, the smarter it gets.
GuestGuy will let the guest know it doesn't have that info and offer to connect them with you directly via a built-in contact form. You're always the fallback for anything unusual.
Yes — you can create as many properties as you like. The free plan allows 1 active property at a time (with a live QR code and guest link). Pro allows up to 10 active properties simultaneously, each with its own guide, QR code, and analytics.
Yes. Guests can switch the interface to their preferred language right on the stay page, and GuestGuy will respond in that language automatically.

No. GuestGuy works in your phone's browser — just scan the QR code and you're in.

No. Sensitive information like WiFi passwords and access codes are encrypted and delivered through a separate secure channel. The AI never sees them.
