GuestGuy ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.
Information We Collect
Account information (name, email address, profile photo) when you register or update your profile
Property details you enter (name, WiFi credentials, house rules, check-out instructions, and other property information)
Property coordinates (latitude and longitude) if you use the Local Recommendations feature to fetch nearby places — your street address is used only to determine coordinates and is never stored
Guest messages sent through the Contact Host feature
Usage data including AI conversation counts and token usage per property
Billing information processed through Stripe (we do not store payment card details directly)

Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Property information and guest messages are stored in encrypted databases with row-level security policies ensuring only you can access your own data.
Third-Party Services
Anthropic (Claude AI) — Guest questions and your property information are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic is based in the United States; data sent to their API is processed on US servers. This transfer is governed by Anthropic's Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with GDPR Article 46. Anthropic states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — Database, file storage, and authentication provider.
Stripe — Payment processing for Pro plan subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment card data under their own Privacy Policy.
Google Maps Platform — If you use the Local Recommendations feature, your property address is sent to Google's Geocoding API to determine coordinates, and coordinates are sent to Google's Places API to fetch nearby places. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Your street address is not stored by GuestGuy.
Guest Data
Guest names and messages submitted via the Contact Host feature are stored to enable host communication. AI concierge conversations — including the guest's questions and Guy's responses — are logged per property to help hosts understand what their guests need and improve their property guides. Conversations are not linked to any guest identity. Guests are informed of this logging via a notice on the chat page.
Guests who interact with the AI concierge do so without creating an account. Their questions may incidentally contain personal information they volunteer (e.g. their name or arrival details). This content is stored only as part of the conversation log associated with the property, accessible to the host.
Data Retention
Account & property data — Retained for as long as your account is active. Permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Guest contact messages — Retained until the host deletes their account or requests deletion. Not accessible to third parties.
AI conversation logs — Question text, AI responses, session identifiers, and escalation flags retained for up to 2 years per property, then automatically purged. Accessible only to the property's host.
Usage & analytics logs — Token usage counts and question categories retained for up to 2 years, then automatically purged.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account page in your dashboard, or by contacting us at support@guestguy.com.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account directly in the app, or contact us at support@guestguy.com to exercise any additional rights.
